The Percussion Conservatory Scholarship is an equal-opportunity, internationally available scholarship awarded each year to a currently enrolled undergraduate or masters (or equivalent degree program) music student, age 18-24. Applicants must demonstrate a genuine desire and ability to pursue a career in classical percussion.

The Scholarship is funded directly from the proceeds of every item for sale on our website, including memberships, as well as from donations from those who wish to advance the percussive art form and support our community.

Our vision for The Scholarship is to provide one year of tuition free education to the Grand Prize winner, every year.

The application for The Scholarship will include a solo percussion recording and short essay, and a small group of finalists will then be contacted for brief video interviews. The essay and interview are required to be in the English language, but all applicants may use a translator. If a finalist applicant cannot secure a translator for the interview portion, The Conservatory will provide one.

The 2022 PC Scholarship will be in the amount of $2000 USD.

Our target is to double the value of the scholarship each year until it can provide a full year of tuition for the winner. After this target has been reached, the additional funds will be placed into an endowment to continue The Scholarship in perpetuity.

More information about The Scholarship, including how to apply, will be announced on July 1st, 2022.
